Draft, pending legal review

This is a working draft written in plain language to describe how ESANtv intends to operate. It is not final and it is not legal advice. Our lawyers are still reviewing it, so the wording, dates, company details, and any specific commitments may change before it takes effect.

The short version

We collect what we need to help you discover things to watch and to run ESANtv, and no more. We do not sell your identity. Reports we share with partners are aggregate only, and we suppress small groups so no one can be singled out. You can see, export, and delete your data.

What we collect

  • Account details you give us, such as your email and preferences.
  • Activity that helps discovery work, such as searches, watchlist actions, and what you follow. In our analytics this activity is tied to a pseudonymous reference, not your name.
  • Basic device and technical information needed to run the service securely.

How we use it

To run your account, to personalise discovery, to keep the service safe, and to understand demand in aggregate. Personalisation that uses sensitive information is off by default and only happens if you turn it on.

Consent, and your choices

We keep essential consent separate from marketing consent, so agreeing to run your account never signs you up for marketing. You can change your choices at any time, and withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it. Notifications and web push are only sent when you opt in.

What we share, and what we never do

We share aggregate insights with partners, never individual identities, and we suppress groups that are too small to be safe. We do not sell your identity. Where a title's information comes from a source such as TMDb, we attribute it to that source.

Your rights

You can access and download a copy of your data, and you can delete your account. When you delete, we remove or anonymise your personal activity, while keeping the limited records the law requires us to keep.

Children

Our minimum age and how we handle younger people are being finalised with our advisers. Until then we apply conservative, high-privacy defaults.

Changes and contact

When this notice is finalised it will show an effective date and how to reach us and our data protection contact. Those details are being confirmed and will appear here.
